Webster County Middle School

In April of 2023, Webster County Schools was awarded a $480,000 21st Century Learning Center Grant for Webster County Middle School. This grant extends the current WCMS APEX Learning Center for another five-year period of time. Since the awarding of the first 21st Century Learning Center Grant in 2018, WCMS has received $625,000 over the last five years and has served over 750 students.  

The APEX Learning Center provides:

• academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for WCMS students,
• academic support to meet state and local standards in core academic subjects such as reading and math,
• enrichment activities that complement WCMS academic programs,
• family events and programming throughout the school year to support WCMS families.
