Cooper Austin Selected for HOBY KY Leadership Seminar

Cooper Austin has been selected to represent Webster County High School as an ambassador at the HOBY Kentucky Leadership Seminar!

The program will be held on the campus of Berea College from June 4-7. This 4-day seminar brings together high school sophomores from across the Commonwealth to build leadership skills, foster community service, and connect with peers. This HOBY experience ensures that students gain awareness of themselves and others, practice and apply newly learned skills, and leave feeling empowered to make a positive impact on the world around them. HOBY student ambassadors learn what it means to be an aware and engaged community member. Congratulations Cooper! 🎉

Dixon ELS & WC ATC Collaborates on School Projects

The students pictured asked Dixon Principal Mr. Wheatley if they could hold a recess equipment drive for the school and partner with the ATC to have a cart built for the items. Check out the finished project! What a great collaborative project between Dixon ELS and WC ATC!

Students in Mrs. Brown's Health Pathway class presented a program on poison control and safety to Dixon students. They were excited for the puppet show!

Test Drive a Bus Event - June 19th

Join us on Friday, June 19th, from 10 AM – 2 PM at Webster County High School to climb behind the wheel and take a test drive around campus — guided by one of our bus drivers!

No pressure. No commitment. Just a fun, hands-on way to see if driving a school bus is the right route for you!

Once aboard the WC school bus, you will be able to see the view of the road from the driver’s seat, take a test drive with one of our drivers around a closed course at Webster County High School, and learn more about being a bus driver.

To participate, you need to be 21 and a licensed driver. Please bring your driver’s license to the event.

If you are ready to join our team now, you can apply at any time at www.webster.kyschools.us or express an interest in an interview later on this form.

You do not have to register to attend, but it is helpful for planning. Click HERE to register.
